Ingredients

  • 23 leftover bratwursts, sliced into rounds
  • 12 oz (340g) rigatoni or rotini pasta
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Boil Pasta: Cook pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Sauté: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Brown Brats: Add the sliced leftover brats to the skillet and cook for 3–4 minutes until heated through and slightly browned.
  • Make Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Combine: Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Toss: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until every piece is well-coated in the creamy sauce.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
