Ingredients
- For the Dough:
- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- For the Cinnamon Sugar:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- For the Icing (Optional):
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll & Cut: Roll the dough on a floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness. Slice into strips (approx. 1 inch wide by 6 inches long).
- Coat: Mix sugar and cinnamon. Brush each dough strip with melted butter, then sprinkle generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Bake: Arrange on the baking sheet with space between each. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Make Ahead: You can prepare the sticks up to the baking step, cover them, and refrigerate for a few hours. Bake just before serving.
- Customization: Add flair by sprinkling nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruit onto the dough before baking.
