Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda & 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Cream: Beat softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add both sugars and beat until light and fluffy.
- Combine: Mix in the mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir into the banana
- mixture until just combined (do not overmix).
- Bake: Pour batter into the pan and bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool: Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
