Ingredients

1 loaf of French or Italian bread
1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or blend)
1 cup cooked filling (diced ham, sausage, pepperoni, or sautéed veggies)
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp fresh herbs (parsley, basil, or chives), chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter


Instructions

  • Preheat: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare Bread: Slice the loaf in half lengthwise. Scoop out some of the soft center to create a trench for the filling.
