Ingredients
1 loaf French or Italian bread (12 inches)
1 lb thinly sliced sirloin or ribeye steak
1 cup shredded provolone cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 medium bell pepper, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt, pepper, and fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Sauté: In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Sauté onions and peppers until softened. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Cook Beef: Push veggies to the side, add beef to the skillet, and season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until browned, then mix with veggies.
Assemble: Cut the bread in half lengthwise. Spread the beef and veggie mixture evenly over the bread.
