Lemon Cream Cheese Dump Cake: A Simple, Delicious Dessert!


Ingredients

  • 1 box (approx. 15 oz) Lemon cake mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 12 oz lemon-lime soda
  • Optional: Fresh lemon zest for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • Mix Cream Cheese: In a bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Spread this mixture evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • Add Cake Mix: Sprinkle the dry lemon cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  • Add Butter & Soda: Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, then pour the lemon-lime soda over the top. Do not stir.
  • Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
  • Cool & Serve: Let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with lemon zest or fresh berries if desired.
